Join Dr. Pamela Grundy for a brown bag lunch at the Main Library! The state of Iowa figures prominently in the history of American women’s basketball through staunch support of women’s high school ball, key roles in Title IX implementation and the transformative achievements of Caitlin Clark and her Hawkeye teammates. Dr. Grundy, author of Shattering the Glass: The Remarkable History of Women's Basketball will link Iowa accomplishments to the broader history of the sport and to the many challenges American women have faced over the past century.
