ACM@UIOWA is the local student chapter of the International Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), one of the oldest and largest professional organizations in tech. We promote computing and technology in a fun and casual environment and serve as the premier Computer Science student organization at Iowa (of course, students of all majors are welcome to join!).

The Association for Computing Machinery @ UIowa (ACM) is excited to virtually welcome Audrey Chen as our guest speaker! Come join us this Thursday and listen to a Hackathon expert!

Audrey Chen from Michigan State University is a 21-time hackathon winner, venture-backed startup founder, and a passionate advocate for builder-first hiring in the tech industry.

Audrey is the co-founder of Nosu, an AI-powered organization platform designed to enhance hackathons and project-based learning. In just 8 weeks, Nosu has:

  • 6,000+ users and 400 daily active users
  • 130,000 site visits and 32,000 unique visitors
  • $100K raised from BoostVC (1.58% acceptance rate), Earthling VC
