Attendees will get the chance to:
See the Available Equipment –
- They will be introduced to the types of equipment available for checkout. This may include a physical demonstration, a presentation with images, or a walkthrough of the equipment storage area. Examples of equipment could include laptops, cameras, projectors, lab tools, or specialized research instruments.
Learn About the Checkout Process –
- They will receive information on how to borrow equipment, including:
- Where and when they can check out items
- Any eligibility requirements (e.g., specific to students, staff, or faculty)
- The duration of the checkout period
- Necessary forms, permissions, or identification
- Guidelines on proper use and return procedures
- Potential fees or penalties for late returns or damages
Observe Demonstrations and Explore Research Applications –
- Attendees may be given brief demonstrations on how to operate key pieces of equipment, ensuring they understand their basic functionality.
- Explore examples of research studies or projects that have utilized the equipment will be shared to inspire potential uses. This could include case studies, previous research examples, or brainstorming on how the tools can support various types of research inquiries.
